DNV - Global Energy Transition Outlook 2026

10:00 – 10:25

The Stage

Now in its 10th edition, the Energy Transition Outlook is DNV’s flagship report, presenting our forecast on how the world’s energy system will evolve through to 2060 both globally and in 10 world regions. For the first time, this year’s full forecast extends to 2060 to reflect the continued transformation of the energy system after 2050. Our projection shows that while the energy system will have changed significantly by mid-century, in many areas the transition will still be in mid-stride. The transition we forecast remains too slow to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement – net zero emissions is not achieved until the latter part of the century, with dangerous warming of 2.2°C by 2100.

Hidrocibalae - When Manual Data Processing Stops Scaling

11:30 – 11:55

The Stage

Commercial processing software takes offshore survey teams most of the way – the rest is manual, repetitive and slow, and it doesn’t scale with project volume. This session shares how a marine geophysical data processing company confronted that gap on its own live projects: what repetitive manual work really costs, how one-off fixes became standard, repeatable tools, and what changed across 100+ offshore projects – a journey that eventually became Marelia.

–Damir Matic, Head of Tech at Hidrocibalae

Jacking Solutions International - Understanding structural deformations to increase performances

12:00 – 12:30

The Stage

In the offshore industry, understanding the true structural behavior of assets is not optional — it is essential for safe and efficient operations. On a WTIV, jack-up, or offshore vessel, structural deformation directly impacts safety, performance, and project continuity. With high-precision 3D laser scanning, owners now have the ability to see, measure, and act on the true condition of their offshore structures. Through visual case studies, we shall show what makes the difference between raw scan data—and real, engineering-grade insight. It will demonstrate how our analysis helps owners to detect earlier, decide faster, and operate safer.

– Franck Jaussaud, Managing Director at Jacking Solutions International

Miros - From basic wave data to predictive decision support

13:30 – 13:55

The Stage

An offshore operator’s journey from basic wave measurements to predictive decision support highlights the importance of building trust through practical experience. Starting with wave height and period, the crew gradually adopted directional wave data, surface-current measurements and short-term wave and vessel-motion prediction. The key is to start simple, build confidence and expand capabilities as users become ready to incorporate them into operational decisions.

Liebherr - Offshore Crane Replacements

14:00 – 14:25

The Stage

From Replacement to Electrification – Modern Crane Solutions from Liebherr Hamburg What happens when an existing crane reaches the end of its lifecycle or no longer meets today’s operational requirements? This presentation showcases Liebherr Hamburg’s expertise in crane replacements and complex modernization projects. Selected references provide insights into previously implemented solutions, while a current project example demonstrates a potential crane replacement concept from the existing installation to the new solution. The presentation concludes with an introduction to the new fully electric BOS offshore crane, highlighting the next step towards electrified offshore lifting solutions.

Iv - The sea moves. Your lift doesn’t have to

15:00 – 15:25

The Stage

Offshore lifting operations are expensive and constrained by limited operational windows. But what actually stops a lift? Seaqualize and Iv show how vessel, hook and load movements affect operability, and how full motion compensation can increase workability for floating installations or general lifting. Building on experience with the realized and tested HeaveChief1100, the session connects operational data and project economics with the engineering required to turn an innovative principle into a strong, lightweight, reliable and buildable offshore equipment: the Full Motion Chief.

ABB - Engineering Resilience: Powering the Future of Motor Performance

15:30 – 15:55

The Stage

Join this session to explore how ABB motors, generators and drives are enabling marine electrification and accelerating decarbonization, while ensuring high efficiency, compact design, and reliable performance

TWD - Hold the Reins: Engineering in the Age of AI

16:00 – 16:25

The Stage

AI is becoming a powerful tool in engineering. It can change how we create models, calculations, designs and reports, but only if engineers stay in control of how it is used. This raises important questions: how do we keep the engineer in the loop, and how do we maintain control over the quality of what we deliver? In this session, Imco, Principal Software Engineer at TWD, shares three guiding principles TWD follows when integrating AI into everyday engineering work. The principle is simple: let AI do some of the heavy lifting, while engineers keep hold of the reins.

EnBW - Long Distance Offshore Drone Logistics

11:30 – 11:55

The Stage

Small drones already fly the last mile from the service vessel to the turbine. But what about the long leg from shore? Within the EU project DIOL, a drone took off from Norden airfield, flew around 120 km across the open North Sea to EnBW’s service operation vessel, dropped 10 kg of chocolate on deck and returned – almost 250 km in under three hours. The talk shares lessons from this flight, EnBW’s view on long-distance drone logistics offshore and why the open questions today are not only technical but also regulatory.

Young Professionals as INTRApreneurs

12:00 – 12:25

The Stage

Young Maritime & Offshore NL, Future Energy Leaders and AYOP are inviting you to a special session and networking lunch during OEEC focused on a topic that is highly relevant for the next generation of professionals in our sector: INTRApreneurship. The offshore and energy sectors are rapidly evolving. While many young professionals are eager to contribute to this transition, it can sometimes be challenging to understand how to create meaningful impact from within an organisation. During this interactive session, we will listen to three INTRApreneurs from our sector and hear their story on how they create an impact from within. Following the Young Professional programme on The Stage, we invite you to join an exclusive networking lunch which we organise in collaboration with AYOP from 12:45 – 13:45. Here, we invite young professionals and industry leaders to engage in open conversations about the future of our sector, share experiences on intrapreneurship, and discuss opportunities to create impact. This is a unique opportunity to connect with peers, exchange perspectives with senior leaders, and gain inspiration on how to make a difference in your organisation and the wider offshore and energy industry.
