Roope Kekäläinen is the founder of LYGG, a company born from his lifelong passion for flying and his determination to fix the inefficiencies of regional connectivity. Roope has always loved flying: first as a kid following his father’s job, then as a pilot and flight instructor, and later as an entrepreneur, founding both a brokerage and an airline. For him, flying has never been just about airplanes, but about people, opportunities, and the connections it creates. He has experienced from the front seat how traditional hub-to-hub flights leave regional travelers behind, wasting the most valuable resource people have: time. For LYGG, it’s all about time. Time to connect underserved regions, empower people, and sustain the future. Time to give it back for what matters most.
