Wednesday 27 November, 14:00 – 15:00 | DMEC – Innovations for offshore renewable energy tenders
Dr. Ing. Vincent Bonnin holds a PhD in wind-energy harvesting optimization and has 10 years’ experience in applied research in both academic institutions and technology developers, with a strong focus on modelling and conceptual design He was notably involved in airborne wind energy conceptual design at Ampyx Power and more recently was a researcher at TUDelft on hybrid-electric aircraft design. He is now “Energy Solution Analyst” at DMEC, and is the program manager of the OASIS project.
“In the ambitious plans for renewable energy development, storage and system integration will play a crucial role in preventing renewable energy cannibalization and grid congestion. As most of these projects will take place offshore, OASIS will be entirely dedicated to accelerating storage and system integration developments with a focus on offshore deployment.”
