Tommy Sandtorv has a broad experience from the maritime industry. He has worked commercially within the renewable market since 2015, primarily within the offshore shipping segment. Now he is the Chief Commercial Officer in Karmsund Port Authority. A company that is currently developing Haugesund Wind Port Haavik. Through input from developers, OEMs, T&I companies, and by using AI technology, Haugesund Wind Port Haavik is envisioned to be launched as one of the world’s most efficient offshore wind ports.

Its location on the south-west coast of Norway in sheltered waters, but with proximity to the North Sea, means that the port can serve offshore wind development across the North Sea and the Baltic sea.
