Edwin Franse has more than 20 years of experience in IT and cyber security, specialising in large-scale, complex projects that demand excellence. His information security career began with the Dutch Ministry of Defence, where he honed his expertise in securing critical information systems. Since 2017, he has been CISO at Van Oord, where he has developed and implemented a robust information security strategy that aligns with business objectives. Edwin is passionate about building connections between IT capabilities and business needs, ensuring that security not only protects, but also enables growth.
