Biography

Alistair has been with the North Sea Transition Authority (formerly OGA) since 2016 and was Area Manager for the SNS/EIS from 2019.

Alistair is the co-chair of the North Sea Transition Steering Committee’s CO2 Transportation and Storage Task Force and from the 1st of February 2023 has led the NSTA’s UK Carbon Transportation and Storage Team who have responsibility for evaluating and consenting to Co2 storage permit applications.

Prior to joining NSTA Alistair had 25+ yrs experience with a number of operators and service companies working in Finance, Commercial, Planning and Strategy roles in the UK and overseas.
