SeaSEC
Founded with our partners in Northern Europe the Seabed Security Experimentation Center (SeaSEC) aims at securing via vital infrastructure on the seabed of shallow sea areas. The North Sea and the Baltic are home to many miles of subsea cables and pipelines that deliver us data and energy. The threat of sabotage and espionage on this undersea infrastructure is real and urgent. Cooperation with the defence industry is desperately needed to counter that threat. Protection of this infrastructure is still in its infancy and offers market potential for industry partners. SeaSEC offers maritime testing grounds and acts as a collaborative platform between industry, infrastructure owners/operators, RTO’s and Defence. Resulting in the acceleration of the development and adoption of capabilities to secure undersea infrastructure in shallow waters.
