EMR European Metal Recycling
EMR is a leader in sustainable materials with operations in the Netherlands, the UK, Germany and the US. Every year, EMR recycles more than 10 million tons. From a tin can to an aircraft carrier. This saves more than 15 million tons of CO2 compared to iron production from mined ore. From the Netherlands, port terminals EMR Amsterdam and EMR Rotterdam make a substantial contribution to the total tonnage of iron scrap recycled.
