The Safeway motion compensated gangway system has been developed to offer the industry a higher safety for transferring personnel, higher workability and added functionality. The result is a unique gangway system, correcting for roll motions up to 12.5° in addition to the traditional telescoping, slewing, and luffing. Operators will benefit from a greatly increased utilization of their vessels, where even an average 75m PSV will see workability up to 3.5m significant wave height in harsh North Sea conditions.
