Mecal Nodes is a small company focused on enhancing marine ecosystems through innovative scour protection solutions. We develop functional modules, called Nodes, designed to protect the seabed around offshore wind monopiles while promoting biodiversity. The Nodes are integrated into existing seabed protection methods and help kickstart reef formation by creating habitats for a wide range of marine species and actively reintroducing native flat oysters.
