Arjan Boezeman

Arjan (Dutch, 1971) holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of technology. After graduating in 1997 he worked for the University for a few years to analyse, develop and patent a steering system to improve vehicle stability of a 5 trailer container transport vehicle. He started a dynamic analyses consultancy firm after that and merged that into an engineering company ‘IDEA Heavy Equipment’ that he started with a partner in 2002. IDEA performed engineering and analyses jobs and made turnkey equipment deliveries to dredging and offshore contractors. In 2011 the activities of IDEA where sold to Norwegian ship building group ULSTEIN to proceed under the name Ulstein Equipment. In 2016 Arjan went to work for The Ocean Cleanup where he headed the group developing the very first river plastic cleanup system “Interceptor 001”. From 2018 to 2021 Arjan worked as a technical conceptual consultant for companies such as Maersk Supply Service, SMST and TWD. In 2022 Arjan joined Breman Machinery group where he now manages Breman Innovation BV. Breman Innovation BV develops smart lifting equipment for the installation and maintenance of Offshore wind turbines such as 1 ton davit cranes, high speed chain hoists and remote controlled hooks for hands free cargo pick up and release. This equipment is also available on a rental basis.
