Pressure Cooker
Call out to companies active in CCS supplychain
Join the pressure cooker session
On Monday November 25th, you will have the opportunity to talk with the biggest CCS operators about their challenges in CCS and the solutions you see fit, together with ONE-Dyas, Petrogas, ENI, Shell, TotalEnergies, Tenaz. The format is a Pressure Cooker, which will be organized by ElementNL and Navingo on the day prior to OEEC2024.
Why?
With the ambitions to reduce carbons emission and greenhouse gasses (stated into the agreed North Sea Transition Deal 2030 and the recently published OGA plan), it is inevitable much will have to be achieved in the coming years.
Since there are literally two sides looking at the CCS possibilities: UK and NL Operators and the related supply chain, the initiative has been made to work together on solving the challenges we currently face.
Collaboration with the UK and NL
UK and Netherlands have been close partners for many decades, particularly in driving the energy sector forward. NSTA have partnered with Element NL and Navingo to host two Energy Transition hackathons in 2024, the first in Amsterdam on Monday 25th November where Dutch operators will participate and the second in Norwich on 5th December 2024 with UK operators. Both events are open to supply chain companies and will focus on the same themes.
Therefore, a reciprocal collaboration has been set up where decarbonisation opportunities are extended to both Dutch and UK supply chain companies in our joint quest to deliver upcoming projects in the most technologically advanced and efficient way delivering maximum value to all stakeholders.
Format of the session
The format for this is a Pressure Cooker. Pressure Cooker is a way of structuring solutions for solving challenges in multi-disciplinary way. More will be explained during the session.
We would anticipate your company will be experiencing challenges in one or more of the following themes, whether that be full electrification or several incremental decarbonisation reduction measures or indeed developing a CCUS project:
- Electrification of offshore platforms
- CCUS
- Incremental decarbonisation/emissions reduction
- Offshore CO2 capture & utilisation.
Due to the Pressure Cooker format and the closed sessions, the idea is that this will facilitate open constructive dialogue between the operating community and the supply chain on challenges and potential solutions. An external moderator will lead the Pressure Cooker session.
If you would like to participate in this event, please fill out the form as soon as possible. For questions, please e-mail kr@navingo.com.
