Travel information
Tobacco Theatre is located in the city center of Amsterdam. Differents modes of transportation are possible. It is advisable to use public transportation or bycicle to travel, as the location is located in a narrow street with limited vehicle access.
Take Metro lines 51, 53, or 54 and get off at Weesperplein. Capital C is just a short walk from there.
Tram: Take tram lines 4, 14, or 24 to the ‘Rokin’ stop. From there, it’s a short 3-minute walk to the theater.
Metro: Use Metro Line 52 (Noord/Zuid) and stop at ‘Rokin’ station. The theater is just a few minutes’ walk from the station.
Driving into central Amsterdam can be challenging due to limited parking and restricted traffic zones. It’s advisable to park at a nearby parking garage and walk to the theater:
Q-Park De Bijenkorf: Located at Beursplein 15, about a 5-minute walk from the theater.
Parking Centrum Oosterdok: Situated at Oosterdoksstraat 150, approximately a 15-minute walk away.
Please note that Nes is a narrow street with limited vehicle access, and it’s often restricted to pedestrians and cyclists. Be sure to check local traffic regulations and parking availability before your visit.
