Dick van Wijngaarden is Business Development Manager at CAPE Holland, specialising in innovative foundation solutions for the offshore renewable energy sector. With more than 12 years of experience in offshore foundation installation and early involvement in the development of the CAPE Vibro Lifting Technology (VLT), he combines technical expertise with hands-on offshore experience. Dick has contributed to numerous industry research and development initiatives and has been involved in several major offshore wind projects, as well as a range of Joint Industry Projects (JIPs), helping to advance alternative installation methods that reduce environmental impact. A strong advocate for low-noise vibro technology, he is focused on driving the adoption of sustainable installation solutions that reduce underwater noise, improve installation control, and enhance project efficiency. Through close collaboration with developers, contractors, and research partners, Dick continues to support innovation in offshore foundation technology and the responsible growth of offshore wind worldwide.
