With a background in conventional E&P developments, Victor van Heeswijk made the switch in 2023 to work on CCS projects in his home country, the Netherlands. ‘CCUS is a relative new business and we’re pioneering a merchant model here in the Netherlands. Both commercially as well as technically I am working on innovative solutions with our stakeholders to realise a business case to safely store CO2 in offshore depleted gas fields.’
