Jon van Oostrom leads DNV’s global HVDC-FACTS venture, focused on delivering performance assurance and risk management through HVDC and FACTS services worldwide. With over 20 years of experience in the global energy market, Jon has held key entrepreneurial and managerial roles in strategy, business development, and business management, working for both major energy companies and start-ups, in the Dutch, European and Global energy business arena.
His roles have included Board Member, Managing Director, Strategy & BD Director, Business Unit Director, and Business Owner. Jon’s expertise spans a broad spectrum of energy systems including solar, wind, biogas, hydrogen, gas, coal, nuclear, and covers generation, transmission, and distribution.
