Pieter has been working in RD&I for close to 20 years; always with a focus on transport, emissions, new fuels and combustion engines. Pieter joined Damen Shipyards 13 years ago and has held multiple roles in R&D. Since 2018 he is Director of the RD&I group in the Damen Shipyards Holding. Pieter is also co-chair of the Zero-Emission Waterborne Transport partnership, under the Horizon Europe programme.
