With a career in Offshore Wind dating back to the early 2000s, Jurjan Blokland has been at the forefront of the industry’s rapid evolution. Having contributed to several pioneering projects, he played a key role in the development and delivery of Borssele III and IV (Blauwind), one of the Netherlands’ landmark offshore wind farms. Over the years, Jurjan has built deep expertise across the full project lifecycle—from early development and contracting to execution and operations.
Today, he focuses on Offshore Wind projects around the world, with a particular emphasis on subsea cable installation—a critical component in ensuring reliable transmission from offshore assets to the onshore grid. Combining technical insight with practical, hands-on experience, Jurjan continues to drive innovation and efficiency in the global offshore wind supply chain, helping to shape the next generation of renewable energy infrastructure.
